Creatives around the world have been asking for a full version of Photoshop on iPad for years now, and it finally looks like their wish might actually be coming true.
Adobe released a teaser giving us a brief glimpse at what can be expected from the app when it’s released in 2019.
“We are unlocking a new level of creative potential by releasing more powerful tools, extending creativity beyond the desktop, and empowering creatives to thrive in new mediums like voice and augmented reality,” Adobe says. “[It delivers] all the power, performance, and precision of Photoshop reimagined for a modern touch and gesture-based interface.”
Files saved from your iPad will be uploaded to Adobe Cloud, so they can be worked on across multiple devices.
There's no exact release date right now, but we know it's coming in 2019. Users who already pay for the Adobe Creative Cloud will be able to download it as part of their subscription.
