With the release of the iPhone X, Apple set an entirely new pricing bar for premium smartphones. With the newest iPhone costing a whopping $1000 in the US, you may think that's as bad as it gets, however, living outside the US proves that you'll be paying a whole lot more for exactly the same device.
Business Insider has put in the work to find out how much the iPhone X will cost in different countries across the world. Russia comes in at the most expensive with a huge $1,390.30 price tag.
Higher pricing outside the US isn't exactly new, but seeing the prices rise so much is certainly eye-opening.
