Google & Levi’s Team Up To Create An Internet-Connected Smart Jacket

Two of the biggest names in the fashion and tech industries have combined to create a smart jacket that’s made to fit your life on the move. Levi’s and Google have create Jacquard, a tech-enabled jacket that, at first glance, looks like a normal jacket, but hidden in its left sleeve is a bluetooth device that can send you notifications from your phone, play music and give you GPS directions, all from specific gestures you assign from the Jacquard app.

Smart clothing isn’t exactly new, and the hefty $350 price tag might turn some people off, but if anything, this does show signs of where smart clothing might be heading in the future, especially with names like Levi’s and Google getting involved.
