Got a new iPhone for Christmas? This post will teach you a few things about the new iPhone.

1. Set up Touch ID, it's much quicker and no one else will be able to access your sensitive info anymore

Touch ID is a no brainer. You will be asked to set up when you first set up your new iPhone, but if you skipped it, do it now! You can also add more fingers to it.

2. Get some new wallpapers

The default wallpapers that come with the iPhone aren't all that great. Check out our wallpaper collection to give your phone a new look.

3. Use 3D Touch on apps

3D touch is a new feature available on the iPhone 6S and 6S+. You can press down on your screen inside apps and on apps on the homescreen to show additional functionality. For example in email, you can press down to quickly see an email, and then press even harder to make the full email show.

4. Set up Apple Pay

Apple Pay lets you pay for things with your phone just by holding it close to the card reader. A lot of major stores now support it and it's really easy to set up. Nearly all major banks support it now too. You can set up Apple Pay by going into the 'Wallet' app.

5. Use 'Do Not Disturb' to stop annoying notifications at night or at work

You'll find the 'Do Not Disturb' settings in the Settings app. It's great for disabling notifications and silencing your phone when you're asleep or when you're at work.

6. There's a back button

iOS 9 now includes a back button! So if you're in an app and it directs you to another app, you can quickly go back by hitting the back button.

7. Use Siri to set reminders

This one isn't a new one but most forget how useful it can be. You can use Siri to set a reminder for nearly anything.

8. Use Siri to set a timer

Have something cooking in the oven? Use Siri to set a timer for you!

9. Use Siri to set a location based reminder

Siri can also be used to set location based reminders. So if you want it to remind you of something when you leave work, or when you get home, it's perfect for that. It's incredibly useful.

10. Just use Siri for everything!

Never underestimate the power of Siri! You can ask it "what can you do?" and it'll give you a huge list of what it's capable of.

11. Like taking pictures? Download VSCO CAM

If you're into taking pictures and uploading them to Instagram, VSCO CAM is the app for you. It's one of the best apps for adding nice filters to your pics.

12. Use Lower Power Mode, it's in the 'Battery' section of the Settings app
