Meet The New Google Nexus 5X

When you think of pure Android you automatically think of Nexus, it’s the epitome of what Android devices should be. Well now Nexus has its newest addition to its range, the 5X.

After putting out the over-sized Nexus 6, Google has gone back to LG to make another bargain Nexus, the 5X. It rocks a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution, a reasonably fast Snapdragon 808 processor, USB Type-C, a 13-megapixel camera, and finally that fingerprint reader on the back.

Aesthetically it’s very similar to the Nexus 5, just with softer lines. It’s still got its curvy, plastic build that it had on the 5. It has a decently-sized 2400mAh battery inside it, however it’s still supposed to be reasonably light. It’s a little tall where the original Nexus 5 was a little wide.

The 5X comes in Carbon, Quartz, or Ice colour ways, which is basically black, blue, or white. It comes in 16GB and 32GB models, which will go for £339 and £379 respectively.

Other than that, there’s not a lot else to say until we’re able to test it out. So stay tuned until ours arrives and we can tell you more about it. Check out the hands-on video below by The Verge that shows more about the 5X.
