Casa Balint is a beautiful residence in Valencia, Spain designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos. It has a unique elliptical shape, which gives it a futuristic look. With its all-white walls, illuminated swimming-pool in the backyard, and minimally arranged interior, the house boasts luxury from both inside and outside.
The building is has a clean and plain form. Apart from a small terrace on the top floor and glassed-in doors separating the living space from the garden, there are no windows or and other irregularities in its surface. The house was built around a large void which contains communications. The void is a hub where residents can meet and spend together. Kitchen, bathrooms, and service chambers are placed on the lower floor.
Decorators went for a minimalist colour palette. It ranges from pure white to pitch black, here and there creating contrast between furniture and certain architectural elements. The furniture itself is based on simple geometry and fits the residence's overall look and feel. Materials used in the décor include plastic, glass, smooth wood, and marble. Together, they produce a very fine living experience.
