Apple has today updated its line of Macbook Airs, but if you were hoping for a retina display you'll be left disappointed.
The refreshed line up now include the new Intel Haswell processors which should actually boost battery life even more. The Macbook Air 13-inch is capable of 12 hours, with this update it may bring an hour or two extra. The chip is also slightly faster, going from 1.3Ghz to 1.4Ghz.
Probably the most interesting thing about this refresh is that the models are even cheaper now. The 11-inch models start £749 in the UK and and $899 in the US. The 13-inch models start at £849 in the UK and $999 in the US.
It's a shame we don't see a retina model this year, hopefully next year.
