Croatia is known for its sunny weather, stunning landscapes and sandy beaches as well as luxurious hotels and private residences scattered upon the hills on the seashore. Some of those buildings, like the V2 house designed by 3LHD Architects, can be compared to pearls in the water - because of unique and beautiful look, they simply cannot be missed.
The V2 house represents the contemporary-minimalist style and has an angular, white profile which contrasts strongly with the surroundings. The only tribute paid to the location are stone and wood finishes. They add a nice, natural touch and harmonize with building's geometric and elongated shape. Multiple terraces and large windows offer spectacular view over Adriatic Sea and provide air ventilation in the summer. The house has a large, nearly edge-to-edge swimming pool and plenty of space to spread the deckchairs and enjoy the hot Croatian sun.
The designers managed to give the V2 house an elegant and luxurious look by combining colours. White textured facade links with gray and brown stone finish on the base, wood on the deck and floors and black, stylish frames around glass panes.
Interior of the house is as minimalistic as exterior. Simple furniture arrangements in earthy hues generate an inviting feel, simultaneously making the residence a perfect holiday retreat.
