Built by GGLLatelier and situated at the northern limit of Lisbon, the Quinta dos Alcoutins House draws attention thanks to its modern and exceptionally elegant design. It is split in two volumes to provide distinction and functionality. The grey base is where the least common areas are located. Namely, a garage, a games room, a wine cellar and a cinema room are to be found there. Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchen and a library are held in a slanting white upper. This part of the house was designed to follow the incline of the hill and features clean, minimalistic look.
The L-shaped house has also a patio, a private swimming pool, a garden area, and a rooftop that is torn by terrace offering a view over the nearby golf course and allowing the residents to enjoy solar exposure in the summer.
As for the inside, it reflects the elegance of the exterior and exudes luxury. The colour palette includes various shades of black and grey combined with white accents. Abstract sculptures and unusual choice of lightning highlight the modernity of the house.
