The Olympus Stylus 1 is a compact, semi-professional camera featuring a single built-in f/2.8 10.7x 28-300 mm lens, a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, TruePicVI processor, 3-inch LCD display, electronic viewfinder and Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless image transfer.
One unique feature about the lens is that it stays at an aperture of f/2.8 at whatever length – unlike traditional zoom lenses that decrease size of the aperture as you zoom further.
Its software and hardware was enhanced with a few shooting modes to suit your style and liking. The Olympus one borrows styling from it’s classic cameras, it has a classy, premium design and weighs only 402 grams. The camera will debut in a company of a few accessories. Dedicated bag, an eye shell and a 1.7x lens converter are just to name a few.
Olympus Stylus 1 will be available at the end of November for £550.
