There are hundreds of cases for the iPad 2. They all vary in size and thickness. Which one you choose is mainly down to preference, there is no best iPad case out there. Each case has its own weaknesses and strengths.
However if you're looking for an iPad 2 case which is super thin, looks fantastic and will protect your iPad front and back, Snugg offer one of the best.
One of the biggest downsides of the Apple smart cover was the fact that it didn't protect that beautiful aluminium back on the iPad 2. Manufacturers have gone out of their way to offer better covers and cases than the Smart Cover, at a cheaper price and offering more protection. Snugg have produced a great case here which utilises the neat sleep/wake feature of the Smart Cover but at the same time offering back protection.
The design of the case is frankly fantastic, but this is due to preference of mine because I love anything with a brushed aluminium look. Snugg's iPad case is right up my street in terms of styling, super minimal but functional at the same time.
The main selling point of this case is how thin it is. Let me tell you, it is bloody thin. It's easily the thinnest case I've used which offers protection for both front and back. The case is also very light. It's made from polyurethane leather and TPU plastic, providing tough protection as well as lightness.
Like most Smart Cover competitors, there is the ability to hold the iPad at different angles. The movie/viewer angle and the work/browsing angle.
The only thing which became quite annoying is that the case can easily unfold itself. Because there are no magnets holding it in place, it'll easily dismantle and collapse.
Snugg have done a great job on this iPad 2 case. It has a great minimal design, with some great back protection. It's definitely been made to beat the Smart Cover, and it does - any case with back protection as well, beats the Smart Cover. It's a tough case and will easily protect your iPad from drops, bumps and scrapes. Once you have your iPad 2 wrapped in this case, you need not to worry as much on damaging it. The price is a bit steep but you can be rest assured you are getting quality, and not some crappy £5 case off eBay.
