With bokeh being an increasingly sought after quality in the photography world, and now even in the mobile world, is the focus on aperture and the mere blurriness of a background overrated?
That's exactly what Andrew Branch tried to find out. He took a series of photos in different circumstances with different subjects and at different apertures, but at consistent distances, he then went on to create a survey to ask which of the photos, with different amounts of bokeh, were better and why.
