Helvetica is one of the most popular typefaces of all time, it may be overused, but that's because of its simplicity and legibility. However, one designer went out of his way to turn the typeface into an ugly mess.
Tim Holman has reworked the classic Helvetica and given it painfully bad kerning, and called it 'Smelvetica'. The result is something you'd never even think about using in your design work, but as time said: "So, who might this typeface be perfect for? Your best friends, or your worst enemies… The kerning has been specially altered, to be, well, bad, terrible, awful and painful.”
