This HD, 60fps footage taken in New York City in 1993 could easily be mistaken for video shot today, if it wasn't for the questionable fashion choices.
The footage was likely shot with an HDVS camera- perhaps a Sony SONY HDC-500 attached to an HDV-10 portable recorder which recorded on UniHi 3/4" tape."
The HD video (above) was produced for a demo in 1993, but the clip was pulled from a D-VHS tape from 2002 — when digital video was becoming more popular and commercially viable.
There's no real rhyme or reason for the footage to be seen nowadays, but it's crazy to view life 25 years ago in HD.
