Scotty Alan from YouTube channel Strange Parts lives his life by adventuring, making and hacking. His latest project has seen him create an iPhone completely by purchasing all its separate parts from the back alleys of Shenzen, China, and then putting them together to create a refurbished iPhone 6S.
You may be thinking it would cost a lot less than just buying a refurbished iPhone, but Scotty ended up spending around $1000 for the entire project, however the parts that actually went into the phone only cost around $300.
It's a great watch if you have 20 minutes to burn, and so interesting to see how easy it is to actually build a real, working iPhone from scratch. Check out the video below.
