Urbanization is on the up as more people flock from rural areas to find better opportunities in big cities. As you can imagine, this puts a lot of pressure on housing, as people are finding themselves living in smaller places as house prices rise.
Taiwanese design team, A Little Design, have come up with a brilliant example of using a very small space to create as much room as possible.
The apartment below is just 22sq.m (236ft. sq) small, so when designing the build they had to incorporate a number of clever tactics to utilize as much space as possible. Floor to ceiling storage, a mezzanine bedroom, a ladder to use the height of the apartment constructively, and easily rearrangeable furniture are all incorporated. Check out the tour below.
