Timelapses of the New York skyline aren't exactly uncommon, but I can guarantee you've never seen one as fascinating as this. 

Justin Tryba and the team at Alinia Media have just released NYC Layer-Lapse, a short video that turns the NYC skyline into a day and night music visualizer. The video consisted of 22 separate trips to New York, 232,000 pictures, $1,430 worth of parking fees, 352 hours of film, and 9,988 miles driven. Check it out below.
