Borderless Edge-to-Edge Display

The Super Retina display is certainly one of the more stand-out features from the announcement of the iPhone X. Measuring 5.8 inches diagonally with a resolution of 2436 x 1125, the OLED display stretches across the entire surface of the phone, rendering what was the home button, surplus to requirements.

TrueDepth Camera System

We're now used to seeing front facing cameras on phones, but rarely something as technical as Apple's new TrueDepth camera system. The new system makes Apple's new FaceID feature possible, using a flood illuminator, IR camera, and a dot projector to map out your facing, giving you the ability to unlock your phone with it.

Design is something that Apple has not just always done well, but what they pride themselves on, and they've excelled themselves yet again with the iPhone X. With the front and back being made of glass and the side being made out of surgical steel, the quality matches up with the looks. The vertical dual camera on the back looks sublime, along with the aforementioned edge-to-edge display. It's easy to argue that the iPhone X is the best looking iPhone ever.

AR Support

Some of the demos that have come out since it was announced that the latest iPhones and iOS 11 will have Augmented Reality support are incredible. Apple certainly isn't the first company to implement AR, but from what we've seen so far they seem to be doing it right.

Wireless Charging

Without a doubt, one of the most long awaited features on iPhones has been wireless charging, but we finally got it during Apple's Tuesday event. Granted the AirPower won't be released until next year, and we're still unsure on a price, but being able to wirelessly charge multiple devices at the same time is something we can all look forward to.
