Ridiculous Augmented Reality App Shows The Future of iPhone AR

Ever since Apple announced ARKit – it’s new augmented reality software that makes it easier for developers to add AR features into their apps – we’ve seen a flurry of different apps and software that are brilliantly utilising AR. We’ve now seen one of the best.

If you remember the famous music video from the 80’s  – A-ha’s ‘Take On Me’, and its hand drawn pencil sketch theme, then you’ll know that something like that in the 80’s would’ve taken months to animate, but Trixi Studios created an augmented reality app that can recreate the effect in real-time.

Obviously this isn’t going to be a must-have for iPhone users, however, it does show some of the crazy features we’re going to have at our disposal once ARKit is rolled out more. Check out the video below.
