Google announced their very own virtual reality headset at this year's Made By Google event, and it's actually pretty cool. Not only is it unique in the way that it is completely covered in a light grey fabric, so it's far better looking than what we currently have on the market, but it also works in conjunction with Google's new Daydream-enabled phones that have also just been announced: the Pixel and Pixel XL.

Google has already dipped their toes into the virtual reality world with their Google Cardboard device, however, the Daydream View is a huge step up. It works with a separate motion control so you can interact with content without even touching the device.

Right now there isn't a whole lot of information on the Daydream View, however, from what we know about it, it seems like an absolute steal for £69/$79. It will be available from November this year.

Check Google's own video about it below for more info.
