This interesting concept by Istanbul-based designer Isil Uzum shows exactly what we're missing when it comes to using our iPhone homescreen, and our app icons in particular. Isil uploaded the concept to Dribbble where instead of going into a specific app to find information, you're greeted with said information on the actual app icon.
"Some examples of how it can be used:
Weather - Weather info of the city you have selected
Health - Any data from Health app dashboard
Twitter - Detail of last notification
Calendar - Info about next event within that day
OneFootball - Realtime score during games
Reminders - Next item scheduled within that day
Phone - Last missed call"
Certainly an interesting idea, and something Apple should be thinking about - let us know what you think in the comments below.
