Lightning Filmed at 7,000 Frames Per Second Is Mesmerizing

There really is something special about seeing nature in ways that we wouldn't usually see it. Thanks to Professor Ningyu Liu of the Geospace Physics Laboratory at Florida Institute of Technology, we can now see what lightning looks like at an astonishing 7,000 frames per second. The storm was caught using a special camera on 20th May over Melbourne, Florida.
