New York-based architectural design firms TO+WN Design andAJSNY have collaborated on a small project to come up with 3D printed tiles that fit together to produce a wonderful-looking, topographically-correct cityscape of New York City.
The project, named ‘Microscape’, is a Kickstarter project that has gone it's goal by more than 10x. The models that 1:5000 scale replicas of cities, which are 3D-printed from up-to-date aerial scan data.
