Spotify is a perfect at what it does, compiling your music collection into one, easy to listen to service. But if you're into finding new music that you're not going to hear anywhere else then Soundcloud is the one. Until now we've been forced to keep it in our browser because of a lack of a good desktop app.
Michael Lancaster, a Chicago based developer, has built the SoundCloud desktop app we’ve all been waiting for, to bring the service natively to your Windows, Mac or Linux desktop.
Soundnode is a fully open source Soundcloud app that not only looks great, but feels and works great too. It's a perfect addition to your destop for when Spotify's not quite cutting it.
