When To Use JPEG, GIF & PNG

I’ve worked in the design world for a long time now, and as much I don’t like to admit it, before reading this infographic, I couldn’t really tell you the differences between saving as JPEG, PNG and GIF (apart from the obvious ones).

Luckily for me and hopefully some of you, WhoIsHostingThis has produced a helpful graphic that should impart the knowledge you need so you’re never stuck on that ‘save screen’ again, wondering what to save as.
