Microsoft announced at this years E3, their Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller and it looks amazing.
Microsoft call it as “an elite controller for the elite gamer.”, you can’t argue with that, it comes packed with four interchangeable paddles around back, Hair Trigger Locks for precise control in shooters, remappable buttons, and completely swappable components.
The Elite controller comes packed with a more steel-based makeup so its a lot heavier than its predecessor. You have full customization of thumbstick sensitivity and levels of the controllers top triggers. There is also button remapping which is handled through a standalone app that will be released for Xbox One and Windows 10.
Your controller preferences will be stored in the cloud, however the gamepad itself can save 2 of your button setups.
The Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller will be priced at $149.99 when it hits retail stores in October.
