As someone that truly detests 99% of the phone cases that are on the market, when it comes to protecting my phone I'm very picky, no one wants to buy a £700 gorgeous-looking phone, only for it to be clothed by some horrific rubbery monstrosity. So lets go minimal.
When we're talking about minimal phone cases, protection isn't always going to be top of the list of features, but something's better than nothing, right?
Note: All prices are for iPhone 6.
The Veil is ultra minimal. Made with a semi-transparent matte plastic that's resistant to fingerprints and smooth to the touch. Plus it looks awesome.
Price: $35 Silicone. $45 Leather.
What Apple lack in their price points, they most certainly make up for in design. Their official iPhone case stylish, protective and very minimal.
Mujjo Leather Wallet Case
Price: €33 Plus shipping.
Imagine Apple's iPhone case with a handy wallet slit on the back, you've got the Mujjo Leather Wallet Case. It's beautiful high-quality leather and suede interior make the Mujjo one of the best around.
Phone cases that go round over the phone and minimalism don't really go hand in hand, they usually tend to make the phone look clunky and far thicker than it should. The SurfacePad is an exception, though.
Peel's Super Thin Case
Not only is Peel's case super thin at 0.35mm thick, but it also come with zero branding, the ultimate in minimalism. It comes in black, white and gold.
Shumuri Slim Case
Very similar to the Peel and The Veil at only 0.35mm thick. It comes with anti-scratch protection and 360 degree protection
If you want a more tougher feeling case that's still not bulky and obtrusive, the Incipio Feather is for you.
The Scarf by Totallee Case
The Scarf is up there with the best of them, it's branding free, ultra thin (apparently it's 'the thinnest case you can get'), provides great protection and it comes in four awesome colours.
By definition, Bumpies is the most minimal case ever. They're simply 4 blocks that attach to each corner of your device, protecting your phone from every angle, not only is it minimal, it's genius. There's companies that have done this before, but not so much for the iPhone 6 because of its thinner, more rounded design.
