Forget the Apple Watch, The 3D-Printed Apple II Watch Is The Next Big Thing

It really is amazing what you can do with a 3D printer and a computer nowadays, isn't it? The guys over at have created and a nostalgia-inducing, awe-inspiring - however slightly dated - Apple Watch. Named "Apple II Watch". It features its own scrolling button, CRT screen and a very small speaker.

Although most of the UI is a parody of the official Apple Watch, the Instructables version can display the real time and date. The Apple II Watch will be priced at $1299, so get ready to throw your wallets at the screen when it releases early 1985.

In all seriousness, it shows that anyone with the right amount of imagination (and 3D printers) can create something really quite exceptional. See it in action in the video below.
