Colourful Geometric GIFs by Florian de Looij

Florian de Looij is a Dutch designer who started his adventure with Photoshop when he was 12 years old. That must’ve been love at first sight, because de Looij has become one of the most gifted motion designers we’ve ever met.

On his blog called FLRN GIF, Florian de Looij publishes gorgeous animated GIFs inspired by optical illusions and works by the femous M.C. Escher as well as other artists. Smooth, colourful, and sometimes simply mind-boggling, the GIFs come to life as agile and fluid forms that loop endlessly.

The designer aims to create a new GIF each day, so make sure to follow him on Tumblr for an endless stream of motion design inspiration. If you like, you can also check out his blog’s extensive archive, where you can find tons of previously posted GIFs.
