Looking for a new smartwatch? Pebble, an American technology company responsible for two of the most popular wearable devices on the market, announced their third product - the Pebble Time.
The Time looks very different from its predecessors, the original Pebble and the metal-cased Pebble Steel. It was designed to better fit your wrist and gentle curves of its body give it a likeable appearance of a children's toy.
A Gorilla Glass-covered screen can now display colours and beautiful animations and thanks to a higher refresh rate, it provides much smoother experience while maintaining the same amazing 7-day battery life.
Inside, the Time is a serious piece of technology. Named after its brand new operating system built around the idea of time as an interface, the smartwatch allows you to view notification from your phone, interact with them, install custom watch faces, and use voice commands to send messages or dismiss alarms.
Should you want to go swimming or running in the rain with the Pebble Time on your wrist, you do not have to worry about the device's precious internals getting wet as it comes with water resistance.
If you'd like to give the new Pebble Time a try, head over to its Kickstarter campaign page, where it has collected over 5 million dollars in less than 6 hours. The smartwatch will debut on the market later this year for as little as $199.
