Office workers know the pain of needing to manually lock and unlock their computers every time they want to take a break for lunch or coffee. It's inconvenient and tiresome to such an extent that one begins to wonder why computer manufacturers won't add an ability to block the device with a single key.
Fortunately there are third-part solutions, like Atama Sesame. It's a small gadget that can lock and unlock your computer remotely. It can automatically unlock your Mac based on proximity setting you choose as well as mute the volume, pause music playback or set you as "Away" on your office communicator. It uses Apple Script to work, which means that you can customize its functionality as you see fit.
Sesame costs £39 and at the moment is compatible only with Apple computers. Support for Windows will be made available later this year.
