Remember Ben Young? A few months ago we covered a series of his amazing glass sculptures. Now the artist is back with a new set of works that feature the same unique style and idea.
Young's sculptures mimic the ocean and waves, much like terrain models of the seabed that are used for scientific purposes. However, his sculptures are dynamic, as if they were separate parts of a story taken out of their context.
To create them, the artist uses clear float glass and cast concrete bases. The combination of azure blue glass and light grey concrete is what gives Young's works their original appearance. You can find some photographs of them in the gallery below. If you would like to learn more about Ben Young and his artistic output, make sure visit his Facebook page or website.
