Apple today have announced the all new iPhone but instead of the usual one new model we see, there are now two different sizes - a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch model.
Both devices feature an all new design made from anodized aluminium, stainless steel and glass. The device now has rounded corners all over, no sharp edges like on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5.
The standard iPhone 6 comes in at 6.9mm thick and the iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1mm. Though with that extra 0.2mm thickness on the iPhone 6 Plus, you get better battery life.
The displays have also been updated to be higher resolution. The iPhone 6 features a 1334x750 resolution and the iPhone 6 Plus features a 1920x1080 resolution.
Both devices come with the all new A8 and M8 chip with 64-bit architecture. Apple is saying that CPU performance is now up to 50x faster and GPU performance is up to 84x faster.
The camera has been updated to include an all new sensor. The megapixel count hasn't gone up but the sensor has been improved to produce sharper and clearer images. Video recording performance has also been improved to now include better optical image stabilization, and shoot at 240fps to produce awesome slow motion footage.
Apple are hoping to disrupt the payment industry too with the all new Apple Pay. It's a new feature of iPhone 6 that now allows owners to pay using their iPhone instead of pulling out their credit card.
The devices will be available for pre-order on the 12th of September and made available on the 19th of September. The standard iPhone 6 is going for £539 and the iPhone 6 Plus is going for £619.
