It's been a while since we've given you the last portion of interior design inspiration, but the apartment we want to introduce to you today should compensate for the negligence. Located in Poznań, Poland, the Peters Flat is home to gorgeous minimalist style and creative ideas.
The apartment was designed by Mili Młodzi Ludzie, a young and inventive studio that went for a classy combination of two contrasting colours. Almost everything in the apartment is white, including the floor, ceiling, and built-in wardrobes and cabinets. Furniture, on the other hand, is very modern and completely black. Rug in the living room is the only colourful accent of the interior.
There are strong black lines painted on the walls and across some built-ins. They not only add an interesting touch, but also serve a very specific purpose. As the lines run across the cabinet panels, they turn into cleverly designed handles, allowing the pattern to continue around the interior. Furthermore, numerous tubes of light were incorporated into the lines in order to avoid unnecessary disruption of the clean white surfaces. Great concept!
