LG have just announced their latest flagship device, the G3. The device comes with top-notch internals packed into an extremely compact and attractive body.
The LG G3 has everything you'd expect from a modern superphone, and then some. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch True HD-IPS+ display with a QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, a quad-core processor coupled with a powerful GPU, a 3000 mAh battery, a state-of-art 13 MP shooter on the back and a 2 MP front-facing camera that should be perfect for selfies. There's also LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and an IR blaster that you can use to control your TV.
When it hits the European market in June, the G3 will be available in two storage versions: 16GB and 32GB. Depending on capacity, you will get 2GB or 3GB of RAM respectively (both will offer a microSD slot, though). On top of all that sits Android 4.4 KitKat software with LG's own UI.
Just like its predecessor, the G2, the G3 is made of polycarbonate, but this time the maker took the effort to give it a premium look and feel with a special scratch and fingerprint resistant coating. Combined with narrow bezel around the display and intriguing rear-mounted volume buttons, the coating makes the G3 really stand out. It's a beautiful device that may blow the Galaxy S5 out of the water.
No official word on how much the G3 will cost, but we expect the price to be competitive.
