Spring is the best time to start thinking about summer holidays. If you were to choose any place in the world, where would you go? As far as I am concerned, I would love to spend two or three weeks in a house like the Pole House in Australia, enjoying the seclusion and incredible views of the ocean.
The Pole House, designed by F2 Architecture, is considered to be one of Australia's most iconic examples of residental architecture. The house is very popular among tourists who love to photograph its floating silhouette against a red sky with the sun sinking slowly into the ocean.
The house took its name from a solid concrete support it was built on. The only way to reach the entrance form the mainland is through the walkway, which was recently transformed with glass balustrades that make the visitors feel as if they were walking on air. The balustrade surrounds the house and forms a compact and elegant terrace. The terrace, along with floor-to-ceiling retracting glass walls facing the waters, offers a spectacular view over the landscape.
Check out the gallery below and admire the beauty of the Pole House. It is currently available for vacation rentals so be sure to visit the house's website to find out how you can book a few nights in this unique place.
