HTC have just announced the successor to their HTC One from last year - the HTC One M8.
The HTC One M8 keeps much of what people loved from last years model, but with better specs and a more premium looking finish. The device has a brushed aluminium gunmetal finish, a 5-inch Full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, 16/32Gb of storage, a 2.3Ghz quad-core processor, a Micro SD card slot, Sense 6 and a new "Duo" camera.
The Duo camera consists of one primary camera and another sensor for helping all the info it can on the depth of the photo. The reason for this is so that users can change the focus point of the image, even after they've taken the picture. It's very much like the Lytro Light Field camera. However HTC didn't give any info on the megapixel count because they think "it doesn't matter", a pretty bold move.
The HTC One from last year was HTC's most popular smartphone ever. The new M8 isn't actually that much different, you could say it's a more refined upgrade.
