There Is An iPhone With Flappy Bird On It Going for Over £5 Million

Out of no where the developer of Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen, has announced he's taking down the game tomorrow (Sunday).

Dong reported that the game was making him $50,000 a day so it's crazy as to why he would take down such a big money maker.

I am sorry 'Flappy Bird' users, 22 hours from now, I will take 'Flappy Bird' down. I cannot take this anymore.

According to his Twitter feed he says "I cannot take this anymore", what that exactly means no one knows but we're guessing it's due to his rising popularity - he isn't liking the fame. He has said that he hasn't sold it and nor are there any legal issues. But he will keep creating games.

I can call 'Flappy Bird' is a success of mine. But it also ruins my simple life. So now I hate it.

It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore.

I also don't sell 'Flappy Bird', please don't ask.

And I still make games.
