Multitasking is one of Android's greatest features and can really boost one's productivity. In addition to the default implementation, there are several great applications available on the platform that provide simple and fluid app switching experience. One of the latest and the best of them is Loopr.
The app uses a hotspot to display a half-circle switcher with icons and names of apps running in the background. In order to launch it, all you need to do is hold your finger for a couple of seconds on either side of the screen. The position of the hotspot and hold delay can be configured to make sure you won't activate Loopr by accident.
When the switcher appears, you don't even have to lift your finger to choose an app you want to switch to. Just slide to highlight the icon and release to open. Thanks to its simple, but extremely useful functionality and good-looking visuals, the application fits the operating system like a glove and delivers an amazing multitasking experience.
Loopr is available in the Google Play Store for free. Before downloading it, recognize that it is currently in testing phase and may contain a few bugs.
