Tonino Lamborghini has introduced a smartphone as luxurious as their cars. Elegantly named Antares, the device is made of hand crafted stainless steel and has a leather rear panel. It comes in in several different colours including, as you’d expect, gold. Its design alludes to the car line and is rather edgy, with angular body and almost no curve.
Inside, Antares is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with custom user interface. Its 4-inch display at the resolution of 960 x 540 pixels is covered in scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass. There’s also an unnamed quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory,a microSD card slot and, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel rear shooter accompanied by a single flash. If you’re into listening to music from your phone, you’d be happy to know that the Antares is equipped with a pair of high quality speakers powered by a Yamaha amplifier.
Tonino Lamborghini Antares will be available in Russia and China in December and should arrive to the UK in early 2014. Official pricing has not been published, but it is expected to cost around £2,500.
