There is an endless list of task apps available on the App Store that it’s become pretty difficult for developers to differentiate themselves from the competition.
Taasky is a new task app that is very different from basically anything available for the iPhone right now. The app features a very flat design with some gorgeous colours – it’s a great example of where flat design works perfectly.
It makes use of an array of easy to use gestures that makes sorting through tasks, adding them and editing them super quick and easy. I’ve found other task apps that have gestures to be a bit overwhelming, so Taasky keeps it simple with only really four main gestures. But if you prefer not to use gestures, it’s just as easy without them.
Taasky keeps everything super simple when it comes to what tasks you need doing. It’s perfect for those who want something quick and simple. If you’re looking for a more in-depth app, this may not be a good choice.
There is one feature which I don’t like and that is that there is only four categories to choose from when organising tasks – you can’t add additional ones either. It would be nice to see the ability to add new categories and give users the ability to assign a colour to them.
It’s a fantastic task app overall and is perfect for most – with fluid animations, simple gestures and just all around easy usability.
