Qualcomm announced the Toq a few months back, however only now has it announced pricing and availability. It's a little, yet surprisingly capable device. Like other smartwatches, Toq hooks up to your Android handset to intercept messages, notifications and incoming calls. However, it can do much more. With two built-in apps, you can check the weather or stock with a quick look on your wrist. More features are promised to arrive in the future.
Toq is the combination of Qualcomm's key technologies. It is equipped with a 1.55-inch, power-efficient Mirasol display that uses ambient light to make the content crisp and visible even in bright sunlight. Thanks to support for the WiPower LE standard, Toq can be charged wirelessly in an easy and hassle-free manner. Additionally, Qualcomm's smartwatch comes with optional Bluetooth headphones that sit outside the ear canal and provide quality stereo sound.
Qualcomm Toq smartwich will be available in the United States on December 2nd for $349.99.
