iPad mini with Retina display went on sale today and is available now in many countries all around the world. You can order it from the Apple Online Store or wait a couple of days and buy it at your local Apple Store. Due to numerous rumours about delays and manufacturing issues, it wasn’t perfectly clear when the device will hit the market. Luckily, Apple manage to cope with the problems and when you order the new iPad mini from the store, it will arrive in 1-3 business days.
The tablet is priced at £319 for a 16GB Wi-Fi only version and £399 for the 32GB one. 64GB and 128GB cost £479 and £559 respectively. If you’re interested in cellular connectivity, you’ll have to pay £419 for the most basic, 16GB version, £499 for 32GB, £579 for 64GB or £659 for the model with 128GB of storage.
As the name suggests, the second-generation iPad mini features a high-res 7,9-inch Retina display (2048 x 1536 pixels, 326 PPI) and a 64-bit Apple A7 CPU with motion co-processor. The device is extremely light and thin and is running on iOS 7.
