Google Maps for iOS has just been updated to include iPad support - now you can chuck that Apple Maps app into a deep dark folder, where it'll never see the light of day.
It's as awesome as you'd expect on the iPad, packed with all the features you'd find on the iPhone version. It even brings over the navigation, so you can use your iPad as a big navigation device in your car - if that's your thing.
Other updates include live traffic updates, incident reports, explore and indoor maps for places that have it. The live traffic updates and incident reports are very good. You can find out information about crashes and road works live - but of course cities are usually a lot better covered compared to rural areas.
