Most of us have this vision that Apple are one of the most perfect companies in the world, they've got everything right for the consumer market, including products, marketing and its stores. But the logo we see plastered over products which are used everyday by millions of people has a dark secret hiding in its stores.
Gizmodo's Sam Biddle got previous and current Apple store employees to tell him how corrupt these Apple stores are. The stories are literally unbelievable, things you would never think of.
Apple stores all over the US and UK (most likely all around the world too) have employees that completely abuse the positions they have. Let's go through some of the stuff Gizmodo found.
Employees would destroy iPhones and iPads for fun. They'd play football with iPhones and try to see who can get the biggest crack in an iPad.
Bosses were all in on it too. They would sleep with employees and buy drugs off them like it was nothing.
Once they have enough of breaking stuff they move on to stealing goods. They either keep them for themselves or sell them on to make some money on the side.
A Genius said he would remove parts of computers and exchange them for cheaper ones, making a lot of money out of it. And he doesn't even regret it.
Employees would work together to steal stuff.
Probably the worst though is the invasion of peoples privacy and sexual harassment. Apple employees would take attractive females phones and would look through their camera roll, finding naked pictures. They would even email these pictures to themselves for personal use.
These are just some of the messed up things that Apple employees do, who knows how worse it gets.
It's just a huge shame that you can't even trust this company with your personal info. Your pictures and personal info will literally get torn apart and uploaded all on to the internet.
Now maybe the big bosses over at Apple are also to blame too, not putting proper regulations and just letting the stores run care-free.
Every job and industry will have some kind of corruption, that's inevitable. But Apple, one of the biggest and most profitable companies in the world has it happening in its very own stores.
Next time you go to an Apple store to get your iDevice replaced or fixed, make sure you completely wipe it. Or one day when you're browsing the net you'll end up seeing a pic of you which you never thought would get out.
