The new iMac was delayed quite a bit by Apple, which isn't like them, they're usually on time with everything. However they have just announced via a press release that the all new iMac 2012 model will be available from this Friday (30th of November).
This is the biggest redesign of the iMac for quite a few years which mainly all looked the same, with small cosmetic changes and of course spec upgrades. This year though the design has had quite a large change, now being amazingly thin at the edges. It only measures 5mm thick at the edges. Of course it's an optical illusion with the back being very concave, where all the tech is stored. The illusion has been carried out very well though and it makes the new iMac look absolutely stunning.
Only the 21.5-inch model will be available from the 30th of November. With the 27-inch coming later in December. Prices start at £1099, which is only £99 more from the previous model.
