Being a web designer, it can be difficult to come up with different designs because there are so many websites out there already. Nearly every design has been covered so it's difficult to come up with something completely original. But who said you had to come up with something original all the time? People always bring in elements they've seen elsewhere into their designs, it's how design evolves.
Me being a web designer, I use a number of websites to find web design inspiration.
Dribbble of course one of the most popular design sites on the internet. With the network being an invite only community, usually only the best are invited to show off their work. This is my number one place to go to find inspiration in web design. Of course, it is also a great place for lots of other types of design inspiration.
Behance is website for people who want to show off their work in a portfolio style but also get their work seen by millions of others. Behance has been around since 2006 so it's built up a whole mass of portfolio's. Anyone can sign up and show off their work so it's a great place to find inspiration. Their web design section features some very big names like Nike, Hugo Boss, Google and many others. So you can see the processes which many of these big companies went through to achieve their website designs.
Awwwards is an award website. It awards other websites on their amazing designs and usability. They only choose the best of the best so you'll find some of the most amazing websites on there. There are some very extraordinary websites on there which don't follow the standard 960 grid.
Siteinspire is very similar to Awwwards where it only chooses the best websites, but it doesn't give out awards. It just simply curates the best of the best and lets users browse them, finding some very interesting websites.
This one is very different to the rest of the inspiration sites listed above. This site instead chooses websites which only consist of one page. It's a great source of inspiration for minimalists or those who want to just be super simple.
