Immerse Yourself In The Game With The Oculus Rift

Virtual Reality has always been hit or miss for me; most of the time, it’s a miss. They all make promises stating you’ll “feel like you’re in the game” accompanied by cheesy quotes from paid actors who could have sworn the product is the greatest thing in existence.

I’ve had successful virtual reality experiences before, but those usually come in the form of rides in theme parks of the simulated roller coasters that cost around $40,000 to own and take take up a vast amount of space.

Odds are, you may have forgotten about virtual reality and possibly lost hope in the technology all together. I know I did, until recently that is. Browsing through the Kickstarter website I came across the Oculus Rift. A project that has just now reached over $1.7 million dollars in funding with 13 days to go.

Obviously, this product is no joke.

Oculus Rift is a virtual reality (VR) headset that is going to pave the future for gaming at home and I believe it.   Making VR gaming affordable, comfortable, and most importantly, fun and effective.

The Oculus Rift is making a lot of heads turn and is being backed by id Software’s John Carmack, Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski, and the owner of Valve Gabe Newell. This product is going to make monumental rifts in the gaming industry and I can’t wait to see what these developers have in store for it.
