Glass House In Hiroshima, Japan

The 104.46 sqm (1,124.39 sq. ft.) house was built using  concrete blocks of 1.0 m x 1.0 m x 1.5m like building blocks on top of one another. Tetsuya Nakazono from naf Architecture and Designgot the blocks from the excess cement at a cement factory located in Hiroshima. Reinforced steel is placed in the blocks, to increase quake resistance. Every wall is made of glass, and the house was built next to the ocean, so you can see the ocean from almost any room. The patio provides a terrific view of the ocean under a small protruding roof. There is no roof above the concrete blocks, so all the sunlight flows into the house.
