During Microsoft's press conference, a completely brand new Splinter Cell title was unveiled and quite frankly, it'll blow your freaking mind. Based in an unknown Middle Eastern country, out protagonist, Sam Fisher, brings the war to these rogue operatives in the most brutal manner possible. Breaking arms, stabbing enemies in the chest repeatedly, and pouncing on them from above is just a few of the attacks that we've seen in the demo showed at Microsoft's Press Conference.
Sneaking during the day isn't difficult for out hero at all with some of the most advanced technology we've seen in a Splinter Cell title to date. It's reminiscent of Ubisoft's latest shooter, Ghost Recon Future Soldier and even has a very impressive sync shot-ish mechanic that allows Sam to take out several enemies with deadly accurate aim.
Sam Fisher is not the same character that we once knew and takes manners into his own hands, even if that means taking out a valuable asset solely because he's angry.
One of the coolest features is the use of Kinect's voice control. Allowing you to call enemies over to your position to set them up for their incredibly painful demise.
Taking a note from Uncharted, Fisher even now climbs the terrain fluidly and just as good, if not better, than out beloved Nathan Drake.
Shipping with co-op and the return of Spies vs. Mercs, we can expect to see Splinter Cell Blacklist on the Xbox 360 in Spring of 2013.
